UCF Rosen Career Fair
I had the privilege of serving as the Co-Lead of the Decor and F and B department for the Fall 2025 Event Operations class of the Rosen Career Fair. My primary responsibility was overseeing all event décor, which included designing the main entrance and coordinating the full pipe and drape design. This experience gave me the chance to work closely with Freeman and contribute to creating a memorable and welcoming career fair for UCF students. We had a budget of 14,000 including all things provided by Freeman.
4th of July Celebration
Babcock Ranch’s Fourth of July Celebration offers activities for guests of all ages and concludes with a stunning drone show. This day is especially demanding because our six-person team manages three separate events at the same time. The fourteen-hour day consistently challenges my critical thinking, strengthens my problem-solving skills, and shows me that I can excel even under pressure.
Christmas Tree Lighting
Christmas is my favorite time of year, which makes being part of Babcock Ranch's Tree Lighting event truly magical. This celebration always reminds me why I chose a career in events. As you walk through the crowd, you can see the joy and wonder on everyone's faces, and it is an unforgettable reminder of the impact a well-crafted event can create.
Food Truck Fridays
I was part of the team that redesigned the entire food truck system at Babcock Ranch. One of the most successful additions was Food Truck Friday, which has now grown into a weekly gathering that attracts more than one thousand attendees each night.
Safety Day
Safety Day is one of the most unique and meaningful events my team and I bring to the community. By partnering with local first responders, we highlight their work and promote safety awareness in an engaging and educational way. A major feature of this event is a diving competition between sheriff departments throughout the region. We have also expanded the event for next year and will welcome dive teams from Australia, making it an even bigger and more exciting experience.
